Fees:              $10 per day per site/booth, $8 for second day if paid for separately.

                        $16 per weekend if paid as a one-time payment when registering or prior to show.

                  $90 per season per site/booth if paid in advance.

                        Electric - $2 per day per site. Limited hook-ups available; must supply own extension cords.

                        Tables – (limited number available) $6.00 per table per show. No refunds on tables.

Chairs are not provided.

 

Fees must be paid prior to setting up. Registration is located near the main entrance of the fairgrounds. Dealers must stop at registration and complete sign-in prior to set-up. All dealers will be assigned a site to sell from during the show. This applies to inside and outside sites. All un-reserved sites will be assigned on a first come basis. Inside and outside sites may be reserved advance with payment for the season or for the weekend. Payment should be made at the time of the reservation. Contact the Wyandot County Fairboard Secretary (419) 294 – 4320 to reserve your site and make payment arrangements. Dealers are asked to stay until 3 p.m. as advertised unless extenuating circumstances; such as bad weather, prevent that. It is suggested that dealer stay with space after set-up. Dealer is responsible for unattended space and merchandise. Management is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

Dealers are responsible for obtaining any or all required licenses/permits. Vendors should check with the auditorŐs office with any questions or to obtain a vendorŐs license application. The Flea Market Committee/the Wyandot County Fairboard are not responsible for dealers/food vendors complying or not complying with the law.

 

Prohibited Merchandise:

         The following merchandise is not permitted to be sold on the fairgrounds:

                        No firearms, guns or ammunition.

                        No fireworks including poppers and smoke bombs.

                        No alcohol.      No drugs or drug paraphernalia.

                        No live animals.

 

General Rules:

         No unauthorized golf carts permitted in show area during show hours.

         No smoking in any buildings.                        Fire Codes must be followed.

No nails, tacks or other objects are to be put in walls or poles.

No animals (dogs) permitted in building unless permission granted or used for handicap purposes. Pets are to be kept under control at all times. Owners are responsible and liable for their pets. No barking dogs in selling area or camping areas. Pets must be cleaned up after; they should not be exercised in show areas.

Vehicles will not be allowed to travel through the selling area after the show begins. All vehicles should be unloaded and parked before 9a.m. No vehicles will be permitted to enter selling area for tear-down prior to 3 p.m. on the day of the show. No vehicles will be allowed in the selling area to pick up merchandise unless approved by the Flea Market Committee. Arrangements for pick-up of merchandise can be made by contacting a member of the Flea Market Committee. No vehicles will be permitted in the buildings. Vehicles must be parked at least 10 feet from the building entrances while they are being unloaded. Set up your space after parking vehicle in designated area. If your vehicle is not parked in a designated area you will be asked to move your vehicle or it will be towed.

        

Camping: Overnight camping is permitted. Fees may apply – contact registration or fair office for specific details.

 

Trash Collection: Dealers and campers are required to clean up their sites before leaving the fairgrounds. Any site that is not cleaned prior to leaving will incur additional fees that will be billed to the parties assigned to the site. Packaging material, unsold items and other refuse belonging to the dealer can not be left on the grounds. Repeat offenders will lose the privilege of showing at this flea market.

 

Food Vendors: No food or beverage sales are permitted including bottled water/soda or canned soda unless approved by the Flea Market Committee. Baked goods/food may be sold if packaged for consumption at a later time. All food and beverage sales are under contract. Interested food vendors should contact the Wyandot County Fairboard Secretary at (419) 294 – 4320.

All Food Vendors must send in a menu or list of items being sold at their business. Food Vendors may not sell any non-food merchandise unless arrangements have been made with the Flea Market Committee. Food Vendors shall carry their own liability insurance and provide a certificate or copy to the Secretary/Flea Market Committee prior to setting up. It is the Food VendorŐs responsibility to obtain any and all required licenses.

 

Management Rights: Disputes will be settled by the Flea Market Committee

The Flea Market Committee and the Wyandot County Fairboard reserves the right to:

1. Stop the sale of any item felt not to be in the best interest and/or safety of the public.

2. Refuse any set up which is not felt to be in the best interest of the Flea Market Committee, the fairgrounds and/or the Wyandot County Fairboard.

3. Refuse to allow any vendor to set up who is not abiding by the rules, who is creating an unsafe environment, who is using abusive language or who is not cooperating with the Flea Market Committee.

4. Cancel or reschedule the Flea Market due to severe weather, power outages, or any other unforeseen events beyond the control of the show management. It is up to the discretion of the Flea Market Committee to determine if refunds will be issued.

 

The Flea Market Committee and the Wyandot County Fairboard

rights are not limited to the statements made above.

 

All dealers must sign a release of liability to hold the Wyandot County Agricultural Society a.k.a. the Wyandot County Fairboard harmless against all liabilities arising from participation in the Flea Market.
